🐞 Bug Fix – Last Name Sorting
We’ve resolved an issue where customer last names were not sorting correctly from A–Z.
What’s fixed:
Last names now sort properly in alphabetical order
Improves accuracy when searching or organizing your customer list
🐞 Bug Fix – Online Booking Deposit Payments
We’ve fixed an issue in Online Booking where requesting a deposit also prompted customers to add a tip.
What’s fixed:
When a deposit is requested, the tip prompt will no longer appear
🐞 Bug Fix – Drag & Drop in Schedule (Team Day View)
We’ve fixed an issue where events disappeared when dragged and dropped in the Team Day view.
Previously, dragging an event could accidentally unassign it, causing it to vanish from the schedule.
What’s fixed:
Events now stay assigned when moved
Drag-and-drop works smoothly without losing the event

You can now mark a customer as Tax Exempt directly in their profile.
Benefits:
Automatically excludes tax from estimates, invoices, and work orders
Save time by not adjusting taxes manually
Ensure accurate billing for tax-exempt customers
This feature is live—just open a customer profile and set them as Tax Exempt to get started.

How to enable it:
Go to your Online Booking Settings
Turn on the Image Upload option
Customers will now be able to attach images when submitting a request

We’ve added CAPTCHA to the lead contact form to help stop spam submissions and ensure you’re only getting genuine inquiries.

Blocks automated spam bots
Keeps your lead list clean and accurate
Saves you time by focusing only on real prospects
This update is live now—your contact form is more secure than ever!
We’ve fixed an issue where replies to SMS Blasts were being incorrectly routed to the Markate AI chat instead of appearing as messages from your customer.
Now, when you have Bring Your Own Virtual Number (BYVN) enabled, all SMS Blast replies will correctly show under the customer’s chat.
This ensures you see and respond to replies directly in the right conversation.
Removed the “Linked Accounts” section from the My Account page.
Retired Facebook login and updated the login page UI.
Login with Google has been moved lower in the login form for a cleaner experience.
Markate login remains the preferred and most secure way to access your account.
We’ve added a new feature that gives you more control over who is responsible for each estimate.
What’s new:
Assign or Reassign Sales Person: Office Managers, Owners, and Partners can now assign an estimate to a specific Sales Person, instead of it always being tied to the creator.
Default Assignment for Sales: If a Sales Person creates an estimate, it will automatically be assigned to them.
This update helps improve accountability, streamline follow-ups, and maintain a clear record of estimate ownership.
We’ve enhanced the Estimate Customer View for mobile users to ensure a smoother and more intuitive experience.
Consistent Button Order: Primary action (Pay) and secondary action (Close) buttons now follow the same layout as desktop for a familiar flow.
Optimized Mobile Layout: On smaller screens, buttons are neatly stacked for easier tapping, improving usability on all mobile devices.
Responsive Design: The layout automatically adjusts for screen sizes, keeping the experience seamless whether you’re on phone, tablet, or desktop.
This update makes it faster and easier to review and pay estimates from your mobile device.

We’ve made an improvement to our system!
You can now see the customer’s message when they decline an estimate in the email sent directly in your account. This update gives you more context on why an estimate was declined, helping you follow up quickly and effectively.

We’ve updated our pricing display for SMS Blasts:
