Postcard marketing!

Easily promote your business by sending Postcards to your customers’ doorsteps. Below are steps for setting up One-time Postcard and Postcard Automation.

  • Login to your Markate account.
  • Click ‘More‘ from the menu and select ‘Marketing‘.

A) Set up for One Time Postcards:

Step 1: Click ‘+New Postcard‘.

Step 2: Enter the Campaign Name and click ‘Save & Continue‘.

Step 3: Now, you navigate to Postcard Front. Here, you can choose your template or upload your own design. Once, the template is chosen, you can edit any text or image by clicking on it and start typing new text or upload a new image. Then, click ‘Continue‘.

Step 4: Also, choose Postcard Back template and edit the content by simply clicking on it. Click ‘Continue‘.

Step 5: Here, you can select your customers to whom you want to send Postcard. There are three options- ‘Only to certain customers‘, ‘To a customer group‘ and ‘All my customers with address‘.

Mark  ‘Only to certain customers‘  checkbox if you want to pick customers manually one by one,  ‘To a customer group‘ if you have created customers’ groups from customers menu and want to send to any of those group(s) and ‘All my customers with address‘ if you straightforward want to send to all of your customers from the customers list having valid delivery address.

Click ‘Continue‘.

Step 6: Now, this is the Preview of your Postcards where you can also ‘Download PDF proof‘ and ‘View customers’ list’ to whom you are about to send Postcard. Click ‘Continue‘.

Step 7: To proceed, you need to purchase Postcard per customer at a very minimal amount of $0.80. Enter your credit card details and click ‘Purchase‘.

Step 8: Here you go, your Order Confirmation will look like this,

B) Set up for Postcard Automation:

Step 1: Go to Postcard Automation and click +Add Postcard Automation.

Step 2: Set Rule to automatically send Postcard based on the event. Select On Event (Invoice Paid or Work Order Completed) and Send. Click Save to keep it as a draft or Continue to go ahead.

Step 3: Now, you navigate to the Postcard Front. Here, you can choose your template or upload your own design. Once, the template is chosen, you can edit any text or image by clicking on it and start typing new text or upload a new image. Then, click ‘Continue‘.

Step 4: Also, choose Postcard Back template and edit the content by simply clicking on it. Click Continue.

Step 5: Now, this is the Preview of your Postcard where you can also ‘Download PDF proof‘. Click Continue.

Step 6: You must agree to bill your saved card. Mark the checkbox. and then, click Activate Automation.

Step 7: This is confirmation pop up once Postcard automation is activated. Click Continue.

Note: You can view log and turn off the automation anytime.
